the storm
Fear. Bewilderment. Anger. Confusion.
And then, even more fear. It is a whirlwind of emotions. When your world is turned upside down and you were just barely surviving to begin with. Here is where we find out who we really are, and what we really made of. Here is where we must decide if we’re going to give way to fear and anger and become a victim of its path or if we’re going to sit and rest and believe and realize that everything happens for a reason. We don’t always understand the reason. We don’t know if it’s a lesson Or a blessing. but regardless, we find ourselves sitting somewhere we never thought we would or maybe we feared we would. And we find ourselves surrounded by people but incredibly alone. For this storm isn’t here for them. It is here for us. This is where the true test comes in. This is where our character is formed. All we have in this life is our name and who we are and the legacy we leave behind. In the middle of the storms is when our character is tested and tried and proven. Here is where the opportunity for impact is. My in my hope is that my character shine through for all of the things that I want to be, which is loyal, true, faithful, genuine, sincere, and honest. To care even at the cost of my security and my comfort I want to be all the things that other people need.
